About Me
Ali Anderson
MS, NCC, LPC, QMHP
Hi, I’m Ali Anderson, LPC and founder of Crux Counseling. I’m a trauma-informed therapist who works with adults navigating the intersections of emotional intelligence, identity, embodiment, and relationships. I believe therapy is a space where we learn to be more human; where we slow down, get curious, and build a deeper relationship with ourselves.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that growth happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported. I integrate EMDR, somatic and parts work, DBT, and humanistic therapies to help clients move through stuck patterns and into more grounded, meaningful lives. Whether you’re carrying the weight of trauma, struggling with attention and self-regulation, or feeling disconnected from your body or relationships — I’m here to help you reconnect with your inner clarity and resilience.
Outside the therapy room, I’m an outdoorsy human who finds joy in rock climbing, hiking, yoga, and time in the mountains. I believe in the healing power of nature, movement, creativity, and intention — and I often bring those themes into my work with clients.
Crux Counseling was born out of a desire to support people at their turning points — the “crux” moments when change feels hard but necessary. If you’re ready to explore your inner world and move toward wholeness, I’d be honored to walk with you.
